What a relief to find Jonathan after bad experiences of deceit and overcharging by national companies (and one in Weymouth). Jonathan has dealt with a rat problem for us, and also for a hornets nest that had to be eradicated for health and safety reasons. In each instance he has explained the range of pest control options that were available, clearly and objectively, and just as important, he outlined the chances of success realistically. Everything he has done for us has been done very carefully, in order to safeguard us humans, our pets and, in the case of our rat problem, our hens. And everything he has done has been effective. Jonathan came within a day of booking to assist me with my ant problem - annoyingly these ants must have known and disappeared the morning of the appointment! Jonathan came round to set traps for field mice in the loft. On assessing the property, he was very honest and instead advised our doing remedial work on their access points into the house before trying to get rid of them. He spent time explaining how they lived, what holes they could access and how small they can make themselves (surprisingly small for a determined mouse). Would recommend to others with pest problems. It was such a relief to find Jonathon because, in my panic about bed bugs, I’d been fleeced by a very unprofessional company prior to engaging his services. Jonathon took plenty of time to sit and talk things through, do an investigation, and then take what seemed like the most sensible next steps to deal with the issue. I knew he’d be on hand to come back and keep on being available until we were bug free. All sorted now. Called Jonathan out on three separate occasions during early summer to eradicate wasps building nests in facia and roof tiles. Response was prompt on all three occasions and the service was professional, polite and friendly. A guest at our holiday home thought we had rats due to noise. It turned out we had a stoat. Jonathan came promptly and identified the problem and then dealt with it carefully over several weeks with camera traps and regular visits. Once it had left he was able to proof the house against further intrusions and ensure we don’t get mice in the future. He kept us fully informed and it was such a relief to feel that we could trust home with access to the house. Given the number of visits he has also been very fair at what he’s charged us. Jonathan was absolutely fantastic. I was worried we may have bedbugs. Before I found Jonathan's number I had phoned a few other places who wanted to just spray the entire place at great expense even though I wasn't sure we even had them! Thank goodness I found Jonathan! He advised me on the phone, with a wealth of useful information, ensuring he would want to find evidence of bed bugs first before any treatment and then he came out that very day. After a very professional inspection, traps were then laid down to monitor and thankfully it was then obvious we didn't have bedbugs and no further treatment was necessary. I am now armed with a wealth of information on how to protect an area from bed bugs which I would never have thought of before, particularly useful when you are travelling place to place frequently. Having suffered for some time with mice in our loft, we contacted Jon at Three Counties. The response was fast. He visited next day and set traps around the property and in the loft. He then made 2 further visits to monitor and control the problem, resetting traps and blocking off possible access points. Since then, we have had no further problems with mice in the loft.
